Area 2 (Omitting Bluff) is north of the Bluff and is accessible from the Waipapakauri Ramp and also off Far North Road, via Whalers then onto Hukatere Road

Area 3 (middle) starts at Hukatere to the Bluff and is accessible via the Waipapakauri Ramp.

The Ninety Mile Beach is classified as a State Highway
